COMBAT-funded Jackson County Drug Task Force is utilizing its unique skills and resources to assist Eastern Jackson County Police Departments with crimes—whether drug-related or not—that have “an element of violence.” Dealing with violence has always been part of what the Task Force does.
Our 2024 COMBAT Community Impact Report focuses on the STRiVIN’ Referral program, which reached 3,808 submissions in early 2025. The report identifies areas of need in the community but also introduces you to three people whose lives have been impacted. More

The Jackson County Prosecutor's Office oversees COMBAT's day-to-day operations. The voters of the county, in a 2018 election, had the final say in determining that COMBAT would be placed under the Prosecutor's Office. More
