Any organization requesting COMBAT funding must have an office in Jackson County and provide services to Jackson County residents in Jackson County.

COMBAT Became COMBAT 30 Years Ago!

Jackson County’s anti-crime program—among the first in the nation to not only increase enforcement but also support innovative prevention and treatment programs—got a new name in 1993. The County Legislature approved a special resolution Monday, April 24 commemorating the 30^th anniversary of COMBAT.

“COMBAT-supported programs serve tens of thousands of men, women and children throughout Jackson County each year,” COMBAT Executive Director Vince Ortega said, “and they have been for 30 years and counting.”
