We're hosting this symposium to bring together COMBAT-funded program providers—from all of our Prevention, Treatment and Justice agencies—to discuss expanding the STRIVIN' (Striving Together to Reduce Violence In Neighborhoods) initiative and other important topics.
"Together" is the key. Through increased collaboration, we can ensure COMBAT-funded programs can have an even greater impact on our community.

• Registration is limited to two people per agency. We want each agency receiving COMBAT funding to participate June 21.
• Help us select topics for discussion. The online registration form includes a brief survey so you'll have input in selecting our areas of focus (fentanyl, school violence, etc.).
• Lunch will be served. Let us know about any dietary restrictions when registering.
The online registration deadline is Monday, May 22 at 5 p.m.

This June marks the eighth year since STRIVIN' debuted, though we weren't yet calling this comprehensive effort STRIVIN'. When we unveiled our plan back then, we did so at the Kauffman Conference Center. Now we are again bringing everyone together there to share opinions and seek solutions—and to look ahead to the future. (As we did in 2015, we're going to have assigned seating to mix things up, so you'll have an opportunity to meet other individuals from various career fields.)
I look forward to seeing you on June 21.
