This is an after-school program targeting youths between the ages of 10 and 20, exposing them to activites centered on personal development and intervention strategies for success. Activities include but are not limited to the following:
COMBAT Funding: $48,000.00
This is an after-school program targeting youths between the ages of 10 and 20, exposing them to activites centered on personal development and intervention strategies for success. Activities include but are not limited to the following:
- Life skills training
- Sex education (HIV and STD awareness)
- Teen pregnancy
- Drug and alcohol awareness
- Techniques to handle post traumatic stress
- Tutoring for academic succes
- Improving interpersonal and decision making skills
- Increasing self-confidence
- Achieving academic success.
