ArtsTech offers a multi-pronged approach to reducing/eliminating violence and substance abuse among our most troubled youth and neighborhoods. There is not one organization, government entity, funder or leader that can solve this devastating problem alone. Only through a comprehensive and continuous effort with multiple collaborative partners working on a common purpose success be achieved. ArtsTech uses research-based fine art and tech strategies to deliver youth development programming. ArtsTech's Prevention proposal includes three distinct, innovative, interactive and integrated programs that address COMBAT's expectations and so much more. ArtsTech addresses drug use prevention, ex-offenders and violence, conflict resolution, restorative justice, community violence prevention, gang violence and young peoples' overall health, especially young men of color.
